The Sky and Sea were the Original Drama Queens (and I love it)

I was sat on the beach yesterday, the dark sky brooding over me with her silver-lining glam highlights reflecting onto her mirrory sea-counterpart. The sea, crashing waves onto the sand, moving to the moon - I thought, these ladies are so extra, and I am loving it.

I was caught up in reading Eliot’s “The Hollow Men”, and the sky, sea, and wind really put up a show to fall in line with this poem… dark, brooding, melodramatic, the works…

Are you feeling it?

Recently I’ve been hearing people say, stop being so dramatic. And this is true, it does no good to panic for the sake of it. But DRAMA is different. If anyone ever tells you to stop being dramatic, tell them to spend some time with the sky, and sea, and wind, and embrace the wonderfully bizarre drama queens they all are - because they put on quite a show. And, without them, I’d say we’d all be hopelessly and irrevocably bored.

Stay inspired.
